Day 1-Beaune
Arrive in Beaune, the uncontested wine capital of Burgundy
and also one of the most exquisite of little French towns
full of art and history.
Day 2-Beaune - Côte de Nuits loop 56 km
Excursion devoted to discover the famous “Grands Vins
de Bourgogne”, specifically the red wines.
Day 3-Beaune -Chateauneuf 38km
Continue through the famous vineyards to the Ouche Valley.
Then cross the Burgandy canal to reach Chateauneuf, an ancient
picturesque village protected by a 12th century chateau.
Day 4-Chateauneuf - Autun 53km
A country stage via the town of Arnay le Duc and its charming
medieval center before joining Autun. Explore medieval villages
and ancient Roman ruins.
Day 5-Autun-Nolay 44km
A journey via the Renaissance château of Sully and the
quaint town of Epinac before joining the vineyards. Overnight
in Nolay, a charming town with a beautiful 15th century covered
market, edged with the “Haute Côte de Beaune”
vineyards.
Day 6-Nolay - Chagny loop 58km
This excursion will bring you from famous vineyards to wine
cellars to taste and appreciate the delicate Burgundy wines
! Enjoy a peaceful excursion along the ‘Canal du
Centre’.
Day 7-Nolay - Beaune 32km
This last leg of your tour is via the Château of Rochepot,
a magnificent fortress with roofs made of glazed tiles, and
it will bring you through the ‘Cote de Beaune’
