Terms & Conditions
Arts & Leisure Tours (A&L) / Travel with Flair (TWF) is licensed in Ontario (registration #4617965 and #04175246).A&L/TWF makes arrangements with airlines, coach companies, transfer operators, hotels and other independent parties to provide you with the travel and other services you purchase. Although A&L/TWF takes great care in selecting these suppliers, A&L/TWF is unable to and does not have any control over them and therefore cannot be responsible for their acts or omissions. The travel services provided are subject to the Travel Industry Act (Ont.) and regulations hereunder and are subject to the conditions imposed by the suppliers and their liability is limited by their tariffs, conditions of carriage, tickets and vouchers and international conventions and agreements. A&L/TWF shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury, whether physical or mental, resulting from any delay, substitution of equipment, or any act, omission, negligence or commission of any party supplying any of the services or accommodations herein, its agents, servants, employees, subcontractors, or for any claims for such loss, damage or injury, whether physical or mental, arising therefrom, or from any cause that arises by reason of actions or parties other than A&L/TWF, including act of terrorism or act of war. A&L/TWF reserves the right to decline any passenger as a member of these tours at any time. A&L/TWF has the right to cancel or modify a tour or travel service you have purchased by substituting services or varying the itinerary, In the event of a cancellation, our liability will be limited to the purchase price if the travel service only and we shall not be liable for any claims, demands, losses and damages of any nature or kind whatsoever you may have by reason of your modification to or cancellation of the travel service.
Reservation & Payment
Reservation will be confirmed only upon receipt of 30% deposit. Final payment is due 45 days before departure. Form of payment accepted is agency cheque and the following major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Credit Card Authorizations
Your authorization to use tour credit card for payment indicates your compliance withy our booking terms and conditions whether or not you have to sign the appropriate forms. Your verbal authorization of your credit card confirms your acceptance of these terms & conditions.
Changes
Once documents have been issued a $75 service charge applies. A change of name, airline, departure date or hotel makes the reservation subject to cancellation penalties.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be made in writing to Arts & Leisure Tours / Travel with Flair.
Prices
The continuous variable fluctuation of the euro currency exchange does not allow for competitive consistency in our pricing. We regret this inconvenience and we invite you to call/email us to receive a prompt quotation.
Penalties
The following charges will be assessed if cancellation is received
45 – 31 days or more prior to departure 25% of total package price
30 – 15 days prior to departure 50% of total package price
14 – 0 days prior to departure 100% of total package price
NOTE: Villa/Apartment properties and airfare may have different terms and conditions, please call for details.
Refunds
Refund requests must be received in writing within 30 days of the date of travel.
Hotels
Accommodations will be provided in hotels mentioned in the brochure or similar category. Clients should be aware that hotels and services vary according to different living standards in various countries. Hotels are classified by industry standards and local government ratings. A&L/TWF reserves the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher ratings. In such cases, amenities may vary. Passengers should be aware that singe rooms in many countries while assuring privacy are general small. A&L/TWF offers double room for single use; however single rooms are available on request.
Car Rentals
Rate may not include mandatory road tax, service charges, and registrations fees. Service fees may apply for all car rentals (except Italy) at airports, downtown & rail stations. Fees are subjec t to change without notice. Driver must have a valid driver licence held for at least 1 year immediately prior to rental. International driving permit is mandatory in Greece & recommended in Spain. There is a $50 penalty for all car cancellations.
Note Included in Tour Price
Local airport taxes and weekend surcharges, laundry, telephone calls, wines, liquors, mineral water, soft drinks after dinner coffee or tea, meals not included in the itinerary, sightseeing or services other than those specifically mentioned, tips to the tour director, motor coach driver when touring, local city guides, items of a strictly personal nature, travel insurance and excess baggage.
Voucher/Documents
Travel documents will be sent 14 – 21 days prior to departure for all countries to be visited.
Travel Documentation
It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain, at his own expense, all documentation required by all relevant government authorities. In the event that the passenger does not obtain the required documentation, he/she will be denied boarding by the air carrier or refused entry into the country of destination. No refund will be made under such circumstances.
Trip Insurance
A&L/TWF strongly urges passengers to purchase comprehensive insurance prior to departure. Should a passenger not wish to purchase such, he/she will be asked to confirm in writing that he/she has declined insurance coverage. Please request a full description of coverage offered.
